Admission Steps

House of Bread Christian Academy is excited to assist you in your enrollment process. HBCA is an open-enrollment school, so everyone who supports a Christian education based on traditional teaching philosophy is welcome to enroll.

Schedule an in-person consultation

Schedule an in-person consultation to meet with our office staff. This appointment is for:

  • Meeting you to start building a close relationship between your family and HBCA.
  • Completing any additional forms necessary for enrollment.
  • Reviewing and discussing the commitment necessary for your student’s success.
  • Reviewing your application and answer any questions you may still have regarding school policies and prodecures.

Submit Documents

Student Reference Letter: Print the form below and ask your child’s current teacher to complete it to the best of their ability. This will give us an opportunity to learn more about your child!

Report Cards: Submit copies of your child’s report cards and any standardized test results(i.e., TerraNova test, Stanford Achievement Tests, California Aptitude testing/CTBS, etc.)for the past three years (if applicable).

Immunization Records: Submit a copy of an up to date immunization form. Please reference the following link for a list of all the required innumzations.

Birth Certificate: Submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate.

Pay for Registration

Pay the nonrefundable registration fee to reserve a spot for your child. Fee includes registration processing, textbooks, and technology.

  • Transitional Kindergarten: $600
  • Kindergarten: $650
  • 1st Grade – 10th Grade: $850

Fee must be paid in full to guarantee child’s enrollment into their class(es).

Schedule a Test

Contact the HBCA office to schedule a test for your child(ren): Developmental Test (for Kindergarten) or Placement Test (for grades 1-10).

Programs

Extracurricular Programs

The following programs are billed separately from tuition and annual school fees:

Falcon Care: Afterschool program where students have an opportunity to complete homework or incomplete classroom assignments, enjoy working on interactive projects and benefit from physical exercise.

Falcon Care Overview

Afterschool Clubs: Enrichment program designed for students to experience and learn various sports, activities and arts on a deeper level. Clubs are 10 weeks long and are usually 3:15 – 4:30pm; they occur every fall and spring. Clubs vary each semester.

Hot Lunch

HBCA offers high-quality hot lunches for all its students. Our food is cooked fresh daily, and our students love the home-style meals. It is the best nourishment a young student can get to ensure that their diet is healthy and nutritious (a monthly contract is required to sign up for the hot lunch program).
